‘Where's the Bait?’ Tour
The Forage Fish Campaign hit the road to talk with the people who feel the squeeze first: bait shop owners, charter captains, anglers, and coastal business owners who depend on a healthy supply of menhaden. The "Where's the Bait?" Tour spotlights how industrial-scale reduction fishing, controlled largely by foreign-owned companies, is straining local economies, starving ospreys, and leaving bait shelves empty up and down the coast. Watch the videos below to hear directly from the coastal communities on the front lines.
